TFAC: Call for CUPE National Convention Delegates!

At our September 8th meeting, the Trans Feminist Action Caucus will be electing two delegates from TFAC to attend CUPE’s 32nd National Convention.

The convention will be held from October 6th to October 10th, 2025 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto, with National Sector Council meetings taking place on Sunday, October 5th, the day prior to the start of convention. Interested delegate candidates should be prepared to attend the entire convention from October 5th to October 10th.

To nominate yourself as one of the two delegates elected by TFAC, please email a 200 word candidate statement to Orçun Turan, TFAC Co-Chair, at tfac2@cupe3903.org by 12PM on September 8th, 2025.

All delegates will be allotted a $50 per diem each, with a pro-rated per diem of $25 for the day of the National Sector Council meetings. CUPE 3903 has submitted three resolutions for National, covering topics like supporting BDS, ending restrictions on the right to strike, and making sure there’s time to vote on business at Conventions.

For general questions about the CUPE National Convention, email both Mackenzie Edwards, Communications Officer, (communications@cupe3903.org) and Joseph Tohill, Vice-President Unit 2, (vpu2@cupe3903.org).
