Call for Delegates: CUPE National Convention!

Do you want to vote, use your voice, and connect with CUPE Locals across the country? Nominate yourself to be a delegate to CUPE’s 32nd National Convention!

The convention will be held from October 6th to October 10th, 2025 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto, with National Sector Council meetings taking place on Sunday, October 5th, the day prior to the start of convention. Interested delegate candidates should be prepared to attend the entire convention from October 5th to October 10th.

CUPE 3903 is electing six delegates at the September General Membership Meeting to bring to the CUPE National Convention this year. There has also been a delegate acclaimed by the Trans Feminist Action Caucus! All delegates will be allotted a $50 per diem each, with a pro-rated per diem of $25 for the day of the National Sector Council meetings.

Six general delegates will be elected at the September General Membership Meeting, currently scheduled for September 18th from 2:30-5:30PM. CUPE 3903 has submitted three resolutions for National, covering topics like supporting BDS, ending restrictions on the right to strike, and making sure there’s time to vote on business at Conventions.

Want to learn more or nominate yourself as a delegate?

To nominate yourself as one of the six general delegates, email a 200 word candidate statement to Mackenzie Edwards, Communications Officer, at communications@cupe3903.org by September 18th at 12PM.
