The January 31st deadline for Trans Fund and Sexual Assault Survivor Support Fund applications is fast approaching! We will be happy to guide you through the eligibility criteria and the application/adjudication process.
Trans Fund
- The Trans Fund supports members who identify as trans with expenses related to transitioning, including surgery and everyday necessities.
- The Trans Fund is administered three times per year except in emergency situations where members can apply to the committee on an ongoing basis.
- The Trans Fund Committee understands ‘trans’ to be a broad and inclusive term that includes gender queer, transgender, transsexual, and gender variant among others.

Sexual Assault Survivor Support Fund (SASSF)
- The Sexual Assault Survivor Fund (SASSF) Committee understands that sexual assault can impact many areas of your life. The fund supports survivors to offset costs such as counselling, legal support and lost wages.
- Members can draw on this fund to an annual maximum of $3000. The Committee recognizes that legal support can be very expensive and will consider adjusting the yearly maximum based on need.
