Interested in a Committee Role? Get In Touch!

There are a variety of committees with positions open following today’s June 25 General Membership Meeting (GMM). These committees’ duties range from research, postering, advocacy, and beyond.

If you’re a CUPE 3903 member who is interested in taking on one of these important roles, email Joseph Tohill, Vice-President Unit 2, at vpu2@cupe3903.org about seeking a pro tem nomination!


Committees with vacant positions remaining include:

  • Bargaining Research and Preparation Committee (BRPC) (1 position)
  • Bylaws Committee (2 positions)
  • Distribution Committee (1 position)
  • HOUSE York (formerly Affordable Housing Committee) (1 position)
  • Joint Health and Safety Committees (Units 1–4) (6 positions)
  • Labour-Management Committee — Unit 3 Representative (1 position)
  • Labour-Management Committee — Unit 4 Representative (3 positions)
  • York University Pension Board of Trustees (1 position, 3-year term)
