Could You Be a Union Trustee?

The CUPE 3903 trustees have a vacancy! The role of the trustee is crucial: without up-to-date audits, we won’t be able to rely on CUPE National cost-sharing to materially support our bargaining efforts.

The three trustees review and audit the union’s accounts to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and to ensure that all expenses are above board. While this may sound intimidating, you would have the help from the other two trustees as well as the Financial Coordinator. No background in budgets or accounting is necessary.

The current vacancy would be for a two-year term (ending March 2028). The honorarium for this position is $1000 per year.

If you are interested or have any questions about the role, contact Anson Nater, Secretary-Treasurer, at treasurer@cupe3903.org.
