Eligibility
All positions currently up for by-election are unit-specific, meaning that nominees must be a member of the unit whose position they are running for. These positions are open to both members holding active contracts in the unit and political members whose most recent contracts in the unit have ended less than 12 months prior. For the Bargaining Team Representative – Unit 3 positions, nominees must be active or political members of Units 1, 2, or 3, and must have held a Unit 3 contract in the last 5 years.
Supporter Forms
For these unit-specific positions, nominees must have the support of two CUPE 3903 members from the same unit. Upon submission of the nomination form, the supporters will be automatically contacted to endorse the nomination via a pre-populated supporter form. Both supporter forms must be submitted before the deadline in order for the nomination to be considered complete.
