Bargaining Team Report – May 5, 2026

Our first goalpost is moving closer, as June is approaching!

We continue to prepared to serve notice to bargain in June and work on some solid bargaining proposals — come and join us to hear more! In this week’s meeting, we talked about the Bargaining Townhall on AI, bargaining priorities, the list of information requests, and external parameters for our Units 1, 2, & 3 Bargaining Team (BT).

There are now a number of proposals that are ready to present to the membership, but some still need a bit more work done until the language is just right. It was a busy meeting this week. Additional discussions during our meeting covered planning our next GMM and upcoming SGMMs.

If you are interested to hear more about current proposals, please come and join us for our next meeting (in hybrid format). All questions and comments can be send to the BT at bargaining@cupe3903.org. All current BT members, and most some Executive Committee members, our CUPE 3903 Staff, and some new rank-and-file members were in attendance.

Keep an eye on the CUPE 3903 newsletter and CUPE 3903 calendar for more information on all-unit issues and upcoming meeting dates for May. BT meetings in May continue to be on Tuesdays, from 10AM to noon.
