The Units 1, 2, & 3 Bargaining Team (BT) held their weekly meeting on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with all current BT members, as well as some of the Executive Committee, CUPE 3903 Staff, and rank-and-file members in attendance.
Special guest, Ryan Culpepper (CUPE Ontario University Sector Coordinator), also attended the meeting. Productive discussion took place about key membership bargaining issues and trends at York and in other universities. Your BT continues to gather, analyze and draft membership feedback data into bargaining proposals, in consultation with CUPE 3903 Executive and Staff.
There is a Bargaining Townhall for Contract Faculty on Wednesday, April 8 from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM, which is a great chance to have some Unit 2 focused dialogue about bargaining issues.
