Newly Added! Bylaws Committee

At Thursday’s Annual General Meeting, the CUPE 3903 membership voted to approve bylaw amendments to create a dedicated Bylaws Committee.

The newly created Bylaws Committee will have the task of: firstly, drafting language and developing proposals to update CUPE 3903’s bylaws to meet the Local’s evolving operational needs and existing practices; secondly, presenting these proposals to the Executive Committee and/or membership. Two members will be elected annually for a one-year term. The CUPE 3903 Recording Secretary will normally serve as the Bylaws Committee’s ex-officio member.

Votes were 100% in favour (with some abstensions), and you click here for the full voting results. Please stay tuned to the newsletter for updates about inaugural elections for this committee!
