Bargaining Team Report – May 12, 2026

In our May 12 meeting, your Units 1, 2, & 3 Bargaining Team (BT) sorted through and finished some housekeeping proposals. We then sought to clearly differentiate housekeeping proposals from monetary and equity-seeking proposals. As the General Membership Meeting (GMM) approaches, we will be seeking approval from membership to present these proposals to the employer.

We also welcomed two new members at our last meeting: Gabrielle McLaren (BT Recording Secretary) and Madeliene Merrick (BT Unit 3 Representative)! Finally, we spent time in the last meeting talking about proposal language and the external bargaining parameters which we would like to exchange with the employer. A number of these items will be presented to the membership during the May 19 GMM. Some of the meeting was also devoted to planning our next GMM and a possible future SGMM.

If you are interested in hearing more about current proposals, please come and join us for our next meeting! Questions and comments can always be sent to the BT at bargaining@cupe3903.org.
