Units 1, 2, & 3: Bargaining Team By-Elections

By-elections for the Units 1, 2, & 3 Bargaining Team were opened at today’s General Membership Meeting! These by-elections are for vacant BT spots following previous Bargaining Team acclamations in December and one withdrawal.

The nomination period will run from January 16 – January 30 at 4PM EasternNominations can be submitted using this form.

Following the nomination period, a campaign period of two weeks will occur, running from January 30 – February 11.

Voting on contested positions will then open on February 11 via Simply Voting. Voting will run from February 11 – February 18 (4PM).

Election Timeline: 

  • Nomination Period: January 16 –  January 30 (4PM)
  • Campaign Period: January 30 – February 11 
  • Voting period: February 11 – February 18 (4PM) 

Supporter Forms: 

When running for a bargaing team position, nominees must have the support of two members of the local, specific to their unit (unless running for the position of Bargaining Team Recording Secretary). 

Upon submission of the nomination form, the supporters will be automatically contacted to endorse the nomination via a pre-populated supporter form. Both supporter forms must be submitted before the deadline in order for the nomination to be considered complete. The form will be disabled at the close of the nomination period.

  • Bargaining Team – Unit 1
    • 1 vacancy
  • Bargaining Team – Unit 2
    • 2 vacancies
  • Bargaining Team – Unit 3
