Join us for the Every Child Matters Healing Walk and Rally.
On September 30, 2024 (Orange Shirt Day), the community will unite for the Every Child Matters Healing Walk and Rally in downtown Tkaronto/Toronto to honor the survivors of Residential Schools, Day Schools, and the Sixties Scoop.
The walk/rally will begin at 2PM at the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto (16 Spadina Road). The Vice President Unit 1 and Lead Steward Unit 3 will lead a group from Keele Campus to attend the rally. We encourage members to join and show support!
You’re welcome to travel from York University subway station with other CUPE 3903 members at 1PM or meet at the location itself at 2PM. (Note: the end time listed on this event is just an estimate!)
