DESCRIPTION:Are you looking to connect with your union community in a way that goes beyond paperwork and policy? Join Ari and Ayesha for our very first CUPE 3903 Mentorship Session! \n\n\n\nWe want to move past the traditional\, transactional university routine and truly get to know our members. We will start with a brief\, welcoming overview of CUPE 3903 and then transition into a collaborative\, hands-on space featuring a collective bead-making activity and a world-making activity centred on sensory encounters with Mud. Through these tactile\, grounding materials\, we will explore the concept of relational accountability—the deeply held belief that we are fundamentally responsible to\, and shaped by\, our relationships with each other\, our community\, and the Land we inhabit. Before we organize together\, let’s slow down\, share space\, and build a foundation of care. DESCRIPTION:Welcome back! At this meeting\, we’ll discuss priorities for disabled CUPE 3903 members and we’ll also conduct by-elections for Disability Caucus Co-Chairs. \n\n\n\nThis is a space exclusively for CUPE 3903 members who self-identify as disabled and/or with the experience of ableism\, sanism\, and/or audism. \n\n\n\nThis meeting will be hybrid. The in-person meeting will be taking place at the CUPE 3903 Office (143 Atkinson Building). A link to join virtually (via Zoom) is available by clicking here. \n\n\n\nMore information and an RSVP form coming soon! We plan to have refreshments available in-person\, so please let us know about your dietary needs if you will be joining us in the CUPE 3903 Office. \n\n\n\nIn-Person Accessibility Info: The CUPE 3903 Office is a wheelchair-accessible space\, with a single-user all-gender accessible washroom on the same floor. There are two wheelchair accessible entrances to Atkinson building\, depending on how you are approaching the building. For those coming from the subway or elsewhere on campus\, come in through the North doors\, which are accessible. For those arriving by car\, there is a ramp to the doors from the Sentinel/Pond parking lot.
